Bicycle trails near the campsite

CYCLE PATHS

Located close to the campsite, the "Vélocean" cycle path is easy to reach. From the salt marshes to the coastline, roam between small creeks and sandy beaches. All the routes are safe, secure, and equipped for family rides. You don’t have to bring your bikes for the holidays: you can rent them directly on the Estate.

At the start of the estate, you will have to travel 7 km to reach La Baule, 15 km to reach Piriac-Sur-Mer (picnic area on the way) and 20 km to reach Saint-Nazaire. You can take the "Lila" shuttles to cross the bridge of Saint-Nazaire and reach the bicycle paths of Saint-Brévin-Les-Pins securely (Call 02 40 21 50 97 to book).

REGIONAL BIKE TOURS

The FFvélo (French Federation of Cycle Tourism) offers three different bike tours near the campsite. The first one is called "Entre mégalithes et croix" (Between megaliths and crosses): this 86-km-long trail lasts an average of 6 hours and 45 minutes.

The second tour, "Le tour de la presqu’île" (Around the peninsula), is 89 km long and lasts approximately 7h15. The third trail, "De la côte d’amour à la Vilaine" (From the Côte d’Amour to the Vilaine) takes you on a ride to visit the northern part of the Guérande peninsula over a distance of about 100 km for an average duration of 8h30. Getting to La Baule by bike

About 45 minutes are needed to travel the 7 km between Guérande de la Baule . It is on an old railway which has been arranged to receive exclusively the bicycles and rollers that you will discover one of the most beautiful beach of Europe.

The “bonnes adresses” label

The Domaine de Léveno is a establishment labeled "good addresses" by the French cycling federation. Awarded to accommodation providers with a quality welcome and suitable for cyclists, this label guarantees you to find a comfortable rental in an authentic setting, a personalized welcome with advice on routes and information on local tours and places of interest. On the estate you will find a secure shelter for storing bicycles and a repair kit for carrying out small repairs. Finally, a water point with free access is available to cyclists to ensure the cleaning of two-wheeled vehicles if necessary.

Cycling routes in the region

3 routes are offered by the FFvélo near the campsite. The first "Between megaliths and crosses", takes place over 86 km for an average duration of 6h45 with on its way the famous dissignac tumulus, the spindle of the madeleine, the bell tower of Saint-Lyphard or the castle of Ranrouët.
The second route: "around the peninsula", extends over 89 km for an approximate ride of 7h15. Head towards La Baule to walk along one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe before discovering the charms of the wild coast or the mysteries of the Parc de la Brière.
The third route, "from the coast of love to the Vilaine" takes you to visit the northern part of the Guérande peninsula over a distance of around 100 km for an average duration of 8h30! It is of course possible to cut the route in two in order to enjoy more peacefully the discoveries that await you. Among these, the fishing ports of Piriac-Sur-Mer and La Turballe, the steeple of Trescalan and its exceptional panorama over the salt marshes and the rocky creeks of the coast, but also the towns of character that run along the banks of the Vilaine.
